The Fox Chapel Foxes will head out on the road to  face off against  the Armstrong River Hawks at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Fox Chapel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
 Fox Chapel scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They strolled past Plum with  points to spare, taking the game  70-55. Given Fox Chapel's advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 135th, while the Mustangs are ranked 394th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Fox Chapel got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jefferson Moorefield-Brown out in front who  scored 15 points along with five  assists and two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Thomas Patterson, who  scored 13 points.
 Meanwhile, Armstrong came up short against the Indians on Tuesday and fell  56-43. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Armstrong in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.
 Fox Chapel now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Armstrong, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
 Fox Chapel beat the River Hawks 50-38  in their previous meeting  back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fox Chapel since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
