St. John Lutheran blew past Redeemer Christian 69-24 at home. St. John Lutheran's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
St. John Lutheran's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabel Freeman, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Freeman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Sue Rice, who scored 17 points along with four steals and two blocks.
Redeemer Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Selena Martin, who scored 12 points, and Cami Satterfield who scored eight points.
St. John Lutheran's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Redeemer Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Lutheran will take on HEART HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. HEART HomeSchool comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Redeemer Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Riverside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
