Even though the North Canyon Rattlers have not done well against the South Mountain Jaguars recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. North Canyon walked away with a 47-37 victory over South Mountain. The win made it back-to-back wins for North Canyon.
North Canyon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity King, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Jonni Brown was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
North Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for South Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.
North Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Mountain also has no future games currently scheduled.
