After a string of five wins, The Lemoore Tigers''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 27-13 to Hanford. Lemoore gained 71 more yards on the day, but it was Hanford that made the best of use of them.
Although Lemoore took the loss, they still got scores from Johnny Cunha and Elijah Daley.
Daniel Gomez was his usual excellent self, throwing for 182 yards and three touchdowns.
Lemoore's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Hanford, their victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-1.
Lemoore will take on Justin Garza at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Justin Garza will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Lemoore is ranked 139th). As for Hanford, they will head out on the road to face off against Clovis West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clovis West is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
