Hagerman extended the longest winning streak in 1A Snake River (8 Man) this week by beating Greenleaf Friends Academy, 54-8. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Challis and Rimrock played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Challis eventually emerging with a 42-40 victory. Dylan Robins ran for 45 yards and caught three passes for 26 yards in the win.
Hagerman's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kade Kress threw for 180 and three touchdowns and Justin Arriaga had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Funkhouser chipped in 55 yards. Clint Clifford helped Hagerman's passing attack out by catching three balls for 65 yards.
Hagerman's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pirates feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kress has thrown for 1720 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Dillan Henslee has 20 catches for 627 yards. Kress also leads the league in rushing with 827 yards.
The marquee game in 1A Snake River (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Butte County and Mark Kress' team. The Pirates enters the contest ranked third in the state, while the Pirates ranks first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Butte County takes on Hagerman. Sam Thorngren's team has allowed 154 points this season, while the Pirates have given up 112.
Hagerman took down the Grizzlies 54-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kress ran for 35 yards in the win.
