The Liberal Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Bronaugh 77-39 on the road. The victory was just what Liberal needed coming off of a 60-35 loss in their prior matchup.
Bronaugh lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Colter Banes, who scored four points along with 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luis Solis, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Liberal has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Bronaugh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberal will challenge Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Bronaugh will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Sheldon is ranked 366th, while Bronaugh is ranked 374th).
