In other batting news, Liliana Esparza was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two triples, and three runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lauryn Galvin, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

However, it's not like Bishop Gorman struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Green Valley couldn't quite get it done against Bishop Gorman when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-4. Can Green Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
