The Homefires Flames lost against the Tippecanoe HomeSchool Tornados back in January of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Homefires fell 47-34 to Tippecanoe HomeSchool.
Despite the loss, Homefires still got an impressive performance from Colin Chesnut, who scored 19 points. Chesnut scored a full 55.9% of Homefires' points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Reagan Rademacher, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Homefires' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tippecanoe HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 1-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homefires' homestand continues as they prepare to take on First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. First Baptist Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. Tippecanoe HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Homefires on January 26, 2024.
