Chiawana had won eight straight games and Kaia Foster did her part to make it nine on Saturday. The Chiawana Riverhawks breezed by the Richland Bombers to the tune of 77-33 thanks in part to Foster, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Baylee Maldonado was another key player, going 7 of 9 on her way to 19 points and five assists. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games.

Chiawana's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Richland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Chiawana will host Pasco at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Chiawana knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Pasco likes a good challenge. As for Richland, they will venture away from home to take on Hanford at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Richland is facing Hanford at the right time seeing as Hanford is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
