The West Cowboys have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the South Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. West pushed their score all the way to 71 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The matchup between them and Walnut Ridge wasn't particularly close, with West falling 88-71.
Meanwhile, South entered their tilt with Walnut Ridge with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. South escaped with a win on Friday against Walnut Ridge by the margin of a single free throw, 53-52.
Maurice Mccall had an outrageously good game as he scored 21 points. Lajames Washington was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
West's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for South, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
