The Washington County Tigers''s five-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 50-18 win over Stockton. Washington County's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.
Washington County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavyn LeDuc out in front who rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Jacob Elliott was another key contributor, rushing for 69 yards and three touchdowns.
Washington County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. It was a group effort, with three guys contributing.
Washington County's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Stockton, their loss was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
