There's no place like home for Woodland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Timberland Wolves 10-8. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Woodland got a massive performance out of Corinne Westbury, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Jordan Mccarthy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Woodland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .529 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Woodland's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Timberland, they moved to 8-7 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
