The victory was some much needed relief for Trinity Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Trinity Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Taylor Rosan, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Allison Bebernitz was another key contributor, scoring five points.
West Nassau's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tru Armstrong, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Reagan Hoggarth, who scored ten points.
Trinity Christian Academy's win ended a ten-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18. As for West Nassau, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
