Malcolm extended their winning streak to 15 on Friday, bumping their season record up to 18-1 in the process. They never let the Arlington Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Considering the Clippers have won 11 matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Brixon Meyer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
