Wheaton's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They breezed by Kennedy on the road to the tune of 49-12. The victory was just what Wheaton needed coming off of a 35-0 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Bethesda-Chevy Chase unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 22-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paint Branch.
Wheaton's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Wheaton took a serious blow against Bethesda-Chevy Chase when the teams last played back in October, falling 42-6. Can Wheaton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
