The Murray Spartans waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They blew past Jordan 75-44 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Murray has posted since December 1, 2023.
Quinton Christman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Deacon Poole, who scored six points along with ten assists and three steals.
Murray pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Coincidentally, Murray and Jordan will both be playing Cottonwood the next time they take the court. Jordan will head out to face Cottonwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Murray will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
