The Klein Oak Panthers waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They secured a 61-55 W over Tomball Memorial. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Klein Oak got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Walker out in front who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Courtland Guillory was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Klein Oak is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Tomball Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 22-9.
Klein Oak will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tomball Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Waller has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
