Milton and Tate are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Panthers will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Aggies at 7:00 p.m. Milton will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
On Friday, Milton made easy work of Pine Forest and carried off an 11-1 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Brayden Barrow was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Parker Barninger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Milton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Tate hadn't done well against Pace recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Aggies narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Patriots 2-1. That's two games straight that the Aggies have won by just one run.
Lance Brady spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.
On the hitting side, Tate saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cal Foxworth, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Tate's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Milton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Milton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Tate struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Milton came out on top in a nail-biter against Tate in their previous matchup on March 12th, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Aggies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
