Arapahoe hasn't had much luck against Cambridge recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Arapahoe Warriors will head out to face off against the Cambridge Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Arapahoe is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Alma, falling 63-37. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Cardinals are ranked 75th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Eli Shafer, who posted seven points. What's more, he also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was William Cacy, who had eight points.
Meanwhile, Cambridge came up short against Bertrand on Friday and fell 67-57. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Arapahoe will have to contain Krayton Ruggles as he made an impact in Cambridge's last game. He went 9-for-18 en route to 27 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Braydon Miller, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 11 points.
Even though they lost, Cambridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bertrand only eight assists.
Cambridge now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Arapahoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-21.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Arapahoe has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 35.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Cambridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Arapahoe came up short against Cambridge in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 52-42. Can Arapahoe avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
