Kingman is 6-0 against Tonopah Valley since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Kingman Bulldogs will get right back to it and host the Tonopah Valley Phoenix at 4:00 p.m. on January 24th. Kingman has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
On Tuesday, Kingman didn't have too much trouble with River Valley on the road as they won 50-34. The victory was just what Kingman needed coming off of a 49-25 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tonopah Valley, who are still winless after their 13th contest. They were dealt a 56-14 defeat at the hands of Yuma Catholic on Saturday. Tonopah Valley has not had much luck with Yuma Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Kingman's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12. As for Tonopah Valley, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-13.
Everything came up roses for Kingman against Tonopah Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 55-24 win. Will Kingman repeat their success, or does Tonopah Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
