The Raritan Rockets will head out to  square off against the Matawan Regional Huskies  at 10:00  a.m.  on Wednesday. Raritan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Raritan's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They blew past Shore Regional 10-0. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten  runs or more this season.
  Brie Brosonski and  Julia DelMasto did most of the damage at the plate:  Brosonski  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  triple and two  RBI, while  DelMasto  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Holly Bellofatto, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, Matawan Regional earned  a  7-3 win over Monmouth Regional  on Monday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Huskies.
 Emma Kriegstein was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Kriegstein was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  Elyssa Jamandron was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Maddie DeChristopher was another key player,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Matawan Regional  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Raritan's record now sits at 5-0. As for Matawan Regional,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Raritan skirted past Matawan Regional  3-2 when the teams last played  back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
