Southwest Valley lost to Wayne back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Southwest Valley put the hurt on Wayne with a sharp 16-9 win. The result was nothing new for Southwest Valley, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Southwest Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
