Cullman has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Decatur Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Last Thursday, Cullman came up short against the Panthers and fell 55-44.
Even though Decatur has not done well against the Golden Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Decatur secured a 48-42 W over the Golden Eagles.
Decatur found their leader in underclassman Jennifer Mitchell, who scored 19 points. Mitchell hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Amiah Jackson, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Cullman has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 16-12.
Cullman beat the Red Raiders 57-48 in their previous meeting on Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cullman since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
