Green Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Gianessa Vazquez was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 17 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Green Valley's points. Jazmine Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Green Valley's victory bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Lake Havasu, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Green Valley will take on Mohave at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Lake Havasu won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rancho at 10:30 a.m. on December 20th. Rancho presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lake Havasu in their respective states (Rancho is ranked 48th in Nevada, while Lake Havasu is ranked 247th in Arizona).
