They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 67-42 walloping at the hands of Midwest Central. Grace Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Davis, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Marquardt, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Midwest Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-11.
Grace Christian Academy and Momence will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Momence is on a three-game streak of home losses, Grace Christian Academy a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Midwest Central will take on PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
