They enjoyed a cozy 45-29 victory over Greene County on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Perry also won the last time the pair played last Saturday.
Taryn Nehring was a one-man wrecking crew for Perry as she scored 18 points. It was the first time this season that Nehring scored 15 or more points. Lily Meyers was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Perry's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Greene County, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-20.
Perry will take on Webster City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Iowa (Perry is ranked 309th, while Webster City is ranked 330th). As for Greene County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Cherokee Washington.
