The Oroville Tigers lost against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. Oroville ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 70-45 walloping at the hands of Las Plumas. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oroville in their matchups with Las Plumas: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Oroville lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Ethan Broussard, who  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds.  Brayden Campbell was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
  T.J.  Thompson was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 31 points for Las Plumas. The  matchup was  Thompson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Casmir Jones, who  scored 11 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Oroville's loss was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 6-10. As for Las Plumas, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oroville will  take on Corning at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Las Plumas, they will head out on the road to face off against Orland at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
