It was a good run, but  Marbury unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost to the Pike Road Patriots at home  by a   75-56 margin. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  73-51  back in November of 2024.
 Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jamar Brown, who  posted 15 points.  Jacob Driver was another key player,  putting up 14  points.
Marbury's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-10. As for Pike Road, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season.
 Marbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  72-67  loss against Chilton County on the 17th. Pike Road has also  already played their next game,  a  72-52  defeat against Charles Henderson on the 18th.
