Hall is 0-1 against Lamar since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hall Warriors are on the road again and play against the Lamar Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on October 20th.
Last Friday, Hall had to suffer through a rough 42-14 loss at the hands of Harmony Grove. Hall was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Meanwhile, Lamar was able to grind out a solid victory over Pottsville on Friday, taking the game 32-20.
Lamar's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Caiden Woods, who rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and Caleb Green, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Lamar's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Leading the way was Logan Kendrick and his four sacks.
Lamar's victory bumped their season record to 5-2 while Hall's defeat dropped theirs to 2-6.
Hall was taken down by Lamar 64-32 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can Hall avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
