Fairview is 9-1 against East Hickman County since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Yellowjackets will head out to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Fairview will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Fairview turned things around against Spring Hill on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 10-0 victory. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Yellowjackets this season.

Ashlyn Corbin made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Fairview let Maddie McGowan and Mollie Street run wild. McGowan went 1-for-2 with one home run, while Street went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. That's the most hits Street has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kylie Ellison, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Fairview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, East Hickman County was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of Harpeth by a score of 4-2.
Madolyn Semans was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Fairview's record is now 4-10. As for East Hickman County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Fairview was able to grind out a solid win over East Hickman County in their previous matchup back in March, winning 10-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
