In what's become a running theme this season, the Hooker Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-37 win over Liberal at home. The victory was familiar territory for Hooker who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Liberal still got an impressive performance from Zayden Martinez, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of J. Brooks Kappelmann, who scored four points along with eight rebounds.
Hooker's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Liberal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Hooker will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberal, they will be playing at home against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
