The Paschal Panthers were the 2-0 winner over the Bell Blue Raiders when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Paschal was the victim of a tough 4-0 loss at the hands of Bell on Friday. While losing is never fun, Paschal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Bell is ranked 42nd).
Paschal has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-2 record this season. As for Bell, they pushed their record up to 10-2-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paschal will challenge Weatherford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weatherford's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Bell, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
