Victorino Jr. Made His Presence Known in Laguna Acoma's 30-14 Victory
Starting off the list is Laguna Acoma's Derek Victorino Jr., who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Victorino Jr. rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Newcomb's probably not too fond of Victorino Jr. given he always seems to get the better of them. When Victorino Jr. last faced the Skyhawks back in August of 2023, he rushed for 90 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 124 yards and a touchdown on only 11 passes.

Newcomb is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. Natonabah and Newcomb will stay at home for another week and welcome Cuba at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
