 Texas Wind's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Thomas Guess, who gained 169 total yards and three touchdowns, and   Johnny Salmans, who rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns. Guess showed off some serious burst, taking off on a dash  for 56 yards.
 Walnut Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Texas Wind, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home.
