Midwood came out on top against Fort Hamilton on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Hornets were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Hornets have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Midwood's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Fort Hamilton, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midwood will head out to challenge Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Hamilton, they will venture away from home to face off against Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
