See two section contenders battle it out.

The CIF Southern Section high school boys basketball playoffs get underway this week.

Play begins Feb. 11 for most division while Feb. 14 is the start date for Open Division competition. Finals will be held Feb. 29 at sites to be determined for all but the Open Division championship, which will take place at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach on Feb. 28.
