The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Providence Academy in their matchups with Grace Christian Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Providence Academy got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Lily Johnson and
Quinn Wells, who each put up four points. Johnson also led the team in assists with two.
Providence Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.
