On Saturday, North Creek really took it to Mount Tahoma for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-35 victory at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Creek.
North Creek found their leader in underclassman Mikah Hammerquist, who scored 29 points along with 6 assists and 6 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hammerquist has scored at least 25% of North Creek's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Bareither, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds.
North Creek's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mount Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
North Creek has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Redmond at 7:15 p.m. on December 6th. As for Mount Tahoma, they will head out on the road to face off against Clover Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
