Section 3 Class D - East recap October 1, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Canada Valley, who took down 283rd ranked Waterville/Madison Central, 31-0.
Dolgeville extended the longest winning streak in Section 3 Class D - East this week by beating Sauquoit Valley, 48-26. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Blue Devils.
Sauquoit Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Korey Lewandrowski has thrown for 461 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Ethan Harris has 12 catches for 201 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Morrisville-Eaton/Hamilton takes on the Indians. At the moment, Morrisville-Eaton/Hamilton is in sixth, while Waterville/Madison Central is in second.
The Indians moved up to 295 from 355 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. West Canada Valley was able to move up by topping the Indians 31-0.
