The Lake Placid Bombers had to endure  a  14-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They managed a  33-29 win over Johnsburg Central  on Monday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  win Lake Placid has managed all season.
 Lake Placid can attribute much of their success to  Abbey Light, who  scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her.  Kyra Jordon was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with ten  rebounds.
 Lake Placid's win  ended a nine-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-9. As for Johnsburg Central, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that  defeat, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Lake Placid will take on Keene Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Keene Central's defense has only allowed 27.9  points per game this season, so Lake Placid's offense will have their work cut out for Lake Placid. As for Johnsburg Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Wells at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Wells' defense has only allowed 22.7  points per game this season, so Johnsburg Central's offense will have their work cut out for Johnsburg Central.
