Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crestview). Everything went their way against the Elberta Warriors on Saturday as they made off with a 13-3 win. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Zander Keith, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2025. Cam Cook was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Crestview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 8.8.

The victory was the third in a row for Crestview, bringing their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Elberta, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestview will face off against Choctawhatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Elberta, they will take on Daphne at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
