Monomoy won the last time they met up with Holbrook/Avon, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Monomoy were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Holbrook/Avon 50-12. Monomoy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Monomoy back to even at 2-2. The loss dropped Holbrook/Avon's record to 1-2.
Next week Monomoy take on Nantucket at 5:30 PM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Holbrook/Avon, they will face off against Keefe Tech.
