Last Friday, Lauralton Hall was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to Guilford. Lauralton Hall has struggled against Guilford recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Lauralton Hall might have lost, but man, Maura Bosse was a machine: she scored 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Landin, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Law ended up a good deal behind Lyman Hall on Friday and lost 53-36. Law has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lauralton Hall has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Law, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Lauralton Hall skirted past Law 49-47 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lauralton Hall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
