The Berea-Midpark Titans waltzed into Friday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Kenston 80-38 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-25.
Austin Clay was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tyson Clay, who scored 14 points.
Berea-Midpark's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kenston, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Berea-Midpark will head out on the road to face off against Avon Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Avon Lake and Berea-Midpark are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Kenston, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 7:30 p.m.
