The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-17 victory over Tanque Verde. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.
Sedona Dietrich continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Gifford, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Tanque Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Tanque Verde, they will be playing at home against the Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
