Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Saxony Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evie Caruso, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which Caruso has scored at least 25% of Saxony Lutheran's points. Maci Hollis was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Saxony Lutheran now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sikeston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saxony Lutheran will take on St. Vincent at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Sikeston will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Miller Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
