The Northeast Vikings lost against the Central Blue Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Northeast took a serious blow against the Blue Eagles, falling 87-21. Northeast has not had much luck with the Blue Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
It was another big night for Zahir Ragsdale, who scored 23 points along with five steals for Central. Ragsdale hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Tim Wooden, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Northeast's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.5 points per game. As for Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
Coincidentally, Northeast and the Blue Eagles will both be playing the Knights the next time they take the court. Central will host Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Northeast will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
