Norland has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Norland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Norland came up short against Miami and fell 57-50.
Norland might have lost, but man, Marcus Allen was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Allen is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaiah St.Preux, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Killian 82-33 on the road. That 49 points margin sets a new team best for Booker T. Washington this season.
Norland's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Booker T. Washington, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.
