After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hudson, the Roosevelt Rough Riders were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-35 victory over Field. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Roosevelt also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Roosevelt got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Slocum out in front who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. Grant Leslie was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory got Roosevelt back to even at 1-1. As for Field, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Roosevelt will be playing at home against Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Field will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Hopefully Springfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
