The Midway Chargers lost against the Dewar Dragons back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Midway was the victim of a tough 48-26 defeat at the hands of Dewar. Midway has struggled against Dewar recently, as their game on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Midway still got an impressive performance from Tristen Wolfe, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Wolfe scored a full 61.5% of Midway's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dewar, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Graham/Dustin at 8:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Dewar, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hanna at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
